This damaged Seat Leon would have been priced at a new side panel in most workshops. In order to offer the vehicle and its owner a sensible alternative and at the same time demonstrate an economically and technically advantageous procedure to the repairing workshop, this damage was repaired using the CBR system. The PushPull system and the wheel arch adapter are used to reshape the beaded edge and the wheel arch. This allows the adhesive bond between the inner wheel arch and the side panel to be treated gently and the originality to be guaranteed. With the help of Gluetech + bonding technology and the CBR system's drawbridges, the side panel is then roughly prepared. It is even possible to bring the light edges almost to the target dimensions. The work is then continued with the help of the CBR welding inverter. On the one hand, the light edge is set to its final position by welding on and pulling the PowerBits. Secondly, larger, flat indentations are reshaped by a staggered arrangement of the PowerBits. Finally, the side wall is smoothed with the Easy-Tool and the upsetting electrode. The end result requires no time-consuming reworking or preparation by the painter.
