Mercedes C Class side panel

The repair of this C-Class is a prime example of our motto "Better Repair than Replace". The vehicle was saved from partial side panel replacement by repairing this side panel with little effort and the help of the CBR laminar flow cabinet. The reshaping was started with the CBR glueing technology, the PushPull press and the wheel arch adapter. Careful reshaping of the bonded wheel arch edge was important here in order to preserve the original bond. To ensure a high-quality repair result, the gap between the door and side panel must be the original size. This is achieved with the help of "Gluetech+" bonding technology and the PushPull press. It is possible to work without welding and therefore without damaging the entrance area of the vehicle. Among other things, this reduces the work involved in paint preparation. Further repairs to the surface are first carried out using the CBR bonding technique and the CBR system's drawbridges, followed by fine alignment using the EasyTool manual puller. The repair of the side panel allows the vehicle to retain its original structure and saves the cost bearer money as well as labor, personnel and spare parts costs for the repair store.
